"Here’s a great book for gaining a deeper understanding of the mysteries that seem to escape our normal thinking in the area of dating, romance, and love. 

For me personally, I always thought of astrology in terms of my Sun sign which is what you’ll see everyday in the newspaper horoscopes.  I found these daily Sun sign readings

to be a fun exercise as long as the messages were positive and constructive (like a fortune cookie).  But I never thought that the value of these generic Sun sign readings went

beyond the superficial aspects of my life.

But in The 12 Moon Signs In Love: A Lover’s Guide to Understanding Your Partner by

Vera Kaikobad, I found invaluable and unique insight into the mysteries of my romantic, emotional soul. Most specifically, the Moon signs tell a man about his emotions. On a practical level, it gives clues on what kind of wife he would pick to marry or who is his ideal soulmate. This goes way beyond the everyday world of good looks and nice conversation when it comes to finding a mate.

This is not my first encounter with this type of guidance.  I once went to a psychic therapist on the recommendation of a respected colleague concerning my life’s path towards success, wealth, and happiness.  But this did not go into the romantic side of my life with the kind of precision and insight that The 12 Moon Signs in Love did.

The process for me in this book was very easy.  First, I sent my birth information by email to the author’s website. I received back my Moon sign (My Sun sign was Pisces but my Moon sign I soon discovered was Aquarius).  From there, I looked up the chapter on my Moon sign Aquarius and found what type of personality traits I possess when it comes to romantic relationships. Here’s what I found interesting and accurate:

• Freedom and balance are two primary values in my life. (So true!)

• An over-emotional love partner throws off my sense of balance and is not a good match for me. (I once had a girlfriend who seemed perfect for me except for this one area which became a deal-breaker in time for both of us.)

•  An equally intellectual partner who has her own well-structured life is ideal for me.  This gives me a mixture of proximity and personal space. (My girlfriend is an attorney who is busy managing her own life apart from mine which is something that makes her a good fit for me emotionally.)

• I’m one who values words and communication. (Being an author in the personal development field, this is very accurate and true.)

The other thing to do is to share this with your love partner in order to see how this information all connects.  I would have liked to do this with all of my past loves, but I didn’t have the time or place of birth information handy.  An added benefit of my own readings was that my girlfriend and I were able to talk about my specific personality traits objectively and without judgment.  This made it easier for me to convey my individual needs without sounding like I had an ulterior motive.  She was able to do the same.

In sum, this is a very valuable book and one to be shared with your closest friends.  It will help a reader achieve more certainty about what causes people to have high romantic chemistry with some and low chemistry with others. It also addresses compatibility in emotional terms rather than lifestyle ones alone.

Here are a few observations from this new astrology/relationship book that young women should find interesting:

The Young Girl's Astrological Dating Guide stands out from other astrological dating books because it gives the reader in-depth astrological insights into their partner, as well as themselves. This book has three parts to it: Part I discusses the characteristics of a potential boyfriend while Part II talks about the tendencies of a potential girlfriend. Therefore, the material applies to both males and females and both can take advantage of the astrological advice in it. Part III discusses sun sign trivia, lucky colors and birthstones, luckiest romance months, mercury retrogrades and how they affect our relationships, as well as an easy-to-understand chapter on the planets and their meanings.
